anyone know some good marinades?
i want to grill some chops and i want to add that savory effect to it. red wine vinaigrette was suggested as a decent marinade and i just wanted to check YA to see what yall think. use or don’t use red wine vinaigrette dressing? know any good marinades? get back at me.
That’s ok for a basic marinade but I’d suggest an Italian dressing instead of a red wine vinaigrette for chops. However, here’s an awesome recipe for a chop marinade:
1/2 cup olive or canola oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 TBS dijon or grainy mustard
4 TBS dried tarragon flakes.
2 cloves fresh crushed garlic OR 1tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp pepper
Mix well and throw in a large plastic bag with the chops.
Marinade for at least 3-4 hours flipping the bag every hour or two.
drain marinade and grill or broil chops. Enjoy!
